Privacy policy — Talkasu

Overview

Talkasu ("we", "us") is a mobile app that helps you practice communication skills through AI-guided training sessions. This policy describes what information we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

Account information — email address, display name (if provided), and authentication identifiers when you sign in with email and password or Google Sign-In. Anonymous guest sessions receive a temporary account identifier.
Training data — lesson progress, completed modules, practice session history, and messages you send during training sessions.
Usage data — app interactions collected through Firebase Analytics (for example, screens viewed and feature usage) to improve the app.
Device and technical data — standard device and app information sent to our backend services (Firebase) to operate the app securely.

How we use information

Provide and personalize training sessions
Maintain your account, credits, and progress
Generate AI feedback during practice sessions
Improve app reliability, security, and features
Respond to support requests

Third-party services

Talkasu uses Google Firebase services, including:

Firebase Authentication
Cloud Firestore
Cloud Functions
Firebase Analytics

Practice sessions may be processed by Google Gemini AI to generate training responses and feedback. Data is sent to these providers only as needed to operate the app.

Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your account and associated training data as described on our account deletion page.

Your choices

You can delete your account and data at any time. See Delete account & data.
You can contact us to ask questions about your data or request deletion by email.

Children

Talkasu is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
