What this covers
Cookies and similar storage (localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB) can remember a signed-in session, keep a feature working, or measure how the site is used. Talkasu does not run advertising or marketing pixels.
You can change optional analytics at any time on the product website via Cookie settings in the footer. Rejecting analytics does not block browsing or signing in. Cookie settings are not available on this static page; clear this site's data in your browser to remove a stored choice and analytics cookies here.
Necessary
These are required to provide the service you request (sign-in, security, and remembering this cookie choice). They are always on.
- Firebase Auth (IndexedDB, typically firebaseLocalStorageDb) — keep you signed in on this browser until you sign out.
- talkasu:cookie-consent (localStorage) — remember your cookie choice until you clear site data or we change cookie categories.
- talkasu:just-completed:* / talkasu:training-finished:* (sessionStorage) — show training-complete celebration after a lesson.
- Google Sign-In cookies on accounts.google.com — only after you choose Sign in with Google.
Analytics (optional)
Used only if you accept on the product website. Legal basis: consent. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
- _ga — Google Analytics 4, up to 2 years, distinguish unique visitors.
- _ga_* — Google Analytics 4, up to 2 years, persist session state.
- _gid (sometimes) — Google Analytics 4, 24 hours.
- Firebase Installations / Analytics (IndexedDB) — deleted when you reject or withdraw analytics on the product website; otherwise until you clear site data.
Not used
Talkasu does not set advertising, remarketing, or social-media pixel cookies, and does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat analytics as off.
